Do You Know Jesus?
Do You Know Jesus?
Every one of us was created to know God, walk with Him, and live in fellowship with Him. But the Bible tells us that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). Sin separates us from a holy God, and because He is perfectly just and righteous, sin must be punished. The consequence of sin is spiritual death and eternal separation from God (Romans 6:23).

But God, in His great love, made a way for us to be forgiven and restored.

He sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross in our place—taking the punishment we deserved. Jesus lived a perfect life, died as a sacrifice for our sins, and rose again so we could have eternal life and peace with God.

We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. Salvation involves turning from sin and trusting fully in Christ—receiving Him as Savior and surrendering to Him as Lord.

"Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ." — Romans 5:1 (NIV)

Are You Ready to Put Your Faith in Jesus?

If you're ready to put your faith in Jesus and receive Him as your Lord and Savior, you can pray the following prayer:

Lord Jesus, I confess that I am a sinner and that I need Your forgiveness.
I believe You died on the cross for my sins and rose again from the grave.
Today, I turn from my sin and place my faith in You alone for salvation.
I surrender my life to You as my Lord and Savior.
Come into my heart, make me new, and help me follow You all the days of my life.
Thank You for saving me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Welcome to the Family of God!
If you prayed that prayer in faith, the Bible says you are now saved, forgiven, and made new in Christ.

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!" — 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NIV)

Today you are a child of God, and we celebrate with you! This is the beginning of a new life with Christ, and He will walk with you every step of the way.

Growing in your faith begins now. Here are important next steps to help you walk with Christ:

"Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path." — Psalm 119:105 (NIV)

2. Pray daily
Talk to God throughout your day—He hears you.
"Pray continually." — 1 Thessalonians 5:17 (NIV)

3. Find a Bible-based church
Look for a church that teaches Scripture and helps you grow.
"Not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another…"
— Hebrews 10:25 (NIV)

4. Tell Someone
Share your decision with a pastor, Christian leader, or Christian friend.

Baptism is an outward expression of the inward change Christ has done in you.
"We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that... we too may live a new life."
— Romans 6:4 (NIV)

6. Surround yourself with believers
Join a small group, Bible study, or Christian community for encouragement and accountability.
"And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds…"
— Hebrews 10:24 (NIV)

7. Live out your faith
Share what Jesus has done in your life and walk with Him daily.
"Remain in me, as I also remain in you... apart from me you can do nothing."
